Radical Women, The Suffragists
A New Musical by Patty Carver
Directed by Jerry Goehring
Music by Leo Carusone, Patty Carver, & Andrew Goehring
Lyrics by Patty Carver

Elizabeth Cady Stanton began the battle for women’s suffrage, demanding the right to vote at the Seneca Falls Convention in 1848. No one could predict women’s fight for the right to vote would last for more than five generations. Countless American women labored passionately for suffrage, but it was just a handful that spearheaded the cause with trailblazing leadership and conduct considered radical. It was because of these radical women that women’s suffrage finally came to fruition in 1920.
Featuring a cast of six women and chronicled from the unique perspective of Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony, Radical Women, The Suffragists is a new musical featuring benchmarks in the Suffrage Movement and the women that made it all happen.
Featured Characters include Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, Judge Daniel Cady, Lucretia Mott, Amelia Bloomer, Sojourner Truth, Jane Hunt, Maryanne McGlintock, Martha Wright, Frederick Douglas, Lucy Stone, Justice Ward Hunt, Carrie Chapman Catt, Alice Paul, Lucy Burns, Harry Burn and Febb E. Burn.
