Deep River Historical Society is participating in the Killingworth Quilt and Fiber Arts Show at the Parmalee Farm on September 23 and 24th Four of our historic quilts will be on display.
The Killingworth Historical Society will host a Quilt and Fiber Art Show on September 23 & 24.
The show will be held in the new Historical Society’s Barn at The Parmelee Farm – 465 Route 81. On display will be new, contemporary, antique quilts. Also on display will be the Historical Society’s quilt “Birds of Killingworth” designed by Killingworth resident Sandy Smith along with several of her quilts on loan from the Killingworth Library. The Deep River Historical will have several of their antique quilts also on display.
In the Farmhouse we will display several antique and reproduction samplers.
There will be a vendor selling quilted items, our boutique will have handmade quilted items, also available will be notions, fabric, quilt books, and kits at discounted prices.
Raffle tickets will be available for a Queen size Christmas quilt “Full filled Wishes” for $5.00, drawing will be at our Annual Christmas Fair December 2, 2023.
The show is a fundraiser for the Killingworth Historical Society and proceeds support the annual upkeep of the Society’s buildings.
Admission is $5.00.
Hours are Saturday, September 23rd, 10 am -3 pm, and Sunday, September 24, 11 am – 3 pm.
