Extended Hours to Feast on History!

Friday, November 24 & Saturday, November 25 11-2 pm.

For some diversion and family time, come and visit the Stone House during their additional hours over the holiday break. If you have house guests that you are looking for an activity, bring them along and share Deep River’s rich history with them. As always, the visits are free to all.

Explore the Stone House with our Scavenger Hunt and seek out Deep River’s Legends as featured in the Society’s recent publication by Trustee Frank Santoro called Deep River Stories. What connection does Babe Ruth have with Deep River? Find the answer to that and more as you Feast on History. This will be a fun interactive activity for the whole family.
Books will be available for $10.

Essex Historical Society will have the Pratt House open also on Friday and Saturday from 11-2 pm.
The Chester Museum at the Mill is open from 10-4 pm.

Make multiple stops to gather the history from our adjoining towns.
