Connecticut has for years provided tales and stories that have captivated local interests….fact or folklore? Now Stephen Gencarella has put many of them together and these legends are being told in one volume. Stephen is a tenured professor in the Communication Dept. of University of Mass, Amherst. He was the resident folklorist for the Connecticut River Museum in Essex, CT form 2014-2019.
With these tales will come the necessary routes and trailhead information that hikers and curious explorers might venture out to pursue themselves. Explore and learn about these interesting sites including local ones. Hope to see you there!
