7th Annual Festival of Trees
December 13 - December 15
The 7 th Annual Festival of Trees theme this year is Traditions Around the World. Both the Carriage and Stone Houses will be decorated with joy and open for voting and viewing. Deep River non-profits organizations are representing their groups that do so much to make our town the wonderful town it is to live in. As with most of our other events sponsored by us, it is free to the public in all surrounding towns.
Voting takes place on Friday, Dec. 13 th from 4-8 pm and Saturday, Dec. 14 th from 3-8 pm. Viewing of the winning trees with their ribbons will be Sunday, Dec. 15 th from 12-3 pm. There are several categories that the trees are judged in.
Both houses will be aglow with lights and decorations. This is in conjunction with the Holiday Stoll that is also taking place in town.
Come in and get your voting ballot and join us for early holiday spirit. For the history buffs in your family we have a nice selection of historical books that are for sale and make great holiday gifts.
Season’s Greeting to everyone from the Deep River Historical Society…..we are always at work behind the scenes to blend history and activities for our town. Weather cancellation you may check this website or deepriverct.us for information.
