Ladies representing various time periods from 1790 to 1910 gathered on the Stone House veranda on Sunday Aug 28th. Dressed in actual vintage and authentically reproduced clothing and accessories, the ladies spoke with visitors about their projects, their clothing, the history and their sewing techniques. Many of the visitors that attended the event were able to get advice and discuss their own sewing projects. This also marked a “first” for the Ladies Sewing Circle as they drew the largest visitor crowd ever for a single event.
Look for the Ladies to return next year.
